Main scope of activity of
the Environmental Protection Department covers water and waste management in
the metal finishing industry (plating, anodizing, painting shops and similar)
with special consideration of cleaner production technologies and utilization
of wastes.
Environmental
Protection Department carries out the research works of technological
character, implementations, consulting and services in the range of:
Activity of Environmental
Protection Department covers also training of industrial personnel in Best
Available Techniques (BAT) for Surface Treatment of Metals, which is necessary
to consider in the preparation of Integrated Permit applications.
